The honest weighting, first
A home can contribute to a delayed marriage. It is very unlikely to be the reason.
That sentence is the whole article, and it is worth stating before anything else because this is a topic where people under real pressure get sold expensive certainty.
The primary indications for marriage timing sit in the chart: the hero planet, the 7th house, the planets bonded to them, and the transit that activates the whole structure. Shaadi mein der kyun ho rahi hai works through the six patterns that actually produce delay, and Saturn on the hero planet accounts for more of them than any building ever has.
A property sits underneath that as a secondary factor. It can add friction or reduce it. It does not create or remove a pattern.
The chronological test
Before spending anything, ask when.
If the delay began after you moved, and nothing else significant changed at the same time, the property is a genuine candidate. That is a specific and checkable claim.
If it has run across two or three addresses, the building is not producing it. Something that persists through three homes is not being caused by any of them.
If it began at a move that coincided with something else, a job, a city, a bereavement, then both may be involved, and separating them means looking at what happened in comparable periods at earlier addresses.
Kundli vs Vastu: which one is actually causing the problem works through that separation properly. It costs nothing and it usually settles the question before a consultant is involved.
What a home can plausibly contribute
Where the property is a factor, three things carry most of the weight, and all three are ordinary rather than mystical.
The bedroom. Exposure decides significance, and nowhere else in a home is occupied for seven or eight hours a night for years. Which zone it sits in, where the bed is placed, and what has accumulated in the room are the first three things to look at.
Weight and clutter in the relevant zones. Accumulated heaviness in a zone that should be light is among the most common findings in any property. It costs nothing to address.
What the space does to the person. This is the least mystical mechanism and probably the most real. A home that is disordered, dark, or never has anyone else in it shapes behaviour, and behaviour is a large part of how people meet.
That last point deserves saying plainly: a person whose home makes them reluctant to invite anyone into it has a Vastu problem and a social problem at the same time, and the second one is doing more of the work.
What it cannot do
It cannot override a chart pattern. Where Saturn is producing a delay, the delay is a timing feature and it lifts when the transit moves. Rearranging a bedroom does not accelerate a transit and nothing purchased does either.
It cannot create an opportunity that does not exist. A person not meeting anyone because their life offers no setting in which to meet anyone has a circumstantial problem, and no property adjustment addresses it.
And it cannot be diagnosed generically. Which zones carry weight depends on which planets are prominent in the charts of the people living there, which is why two households in the same house correctly receive different reports. Why can the same house be good for one person but not another sets out that mechanism.
The language to be suspicious of
Three things should raise your guard immediately.
"Marriage dosh in your house." Properties have findings. Framing a home as afflicted is a way of managing your worry rather than your building, and it almost always precedes a price.
A remedy you have to buy, particularly from whoever diagnosed the problem. Genuine recommendations in this area are overwhelmingly things you do rather than things you purchase.
A promise that fixing the house will produce a marriage. No honest assessment offers that, because no assessment can deliver it.
What is actually available
Recommendations are ordered by how disruptive they are: placement first, then colour and material, then fittings, and structural change last and almost never reached. Most of the available benefit sits in the first tier, which costs nothing but rearranging.
For anyone renting or living in a family home, that ordering matters more rather than less, because the first tier is fully available regardless of what you are permitted to alter. Can Vastu be corrected without breaking walls sets out the ordering and living in a rented house covers the constraints.
What to do, in order
Read the chart first. The primary answer is there, and it is cheaper. If it names a Saturn delay with a foreseeable end, that reframes the whole question and may settle it.
Run the chronological test. If the delay predates the address, the property is not the explanation.
Then, if the property is a candidate, get it assessed against the charts of the people living in it, and expect the answer to be two or three findings in the first tier rather than a list of twenty.
A marriage and compatibility reading covers the chart side. An Astro Vastu consultation covers the property, read against the occupants rather than in the abstract. Doing them in that order usually saves the second one.
